Top Things to do in Singapore for Christmas

Top Things to do in Singapore for Christmas

Are you planning to be in Singapore for the Festive Season? Here are the top things to do in Singapore to get into the Christmas Spirit (despite 30C).

Christmas at the Flower Dome

This year, Disney comes to the Flower Dome and with it its magical Christmas Spirit. Stroll along festive Christmas decorations, colorful tropical flowers and giant Christmas trees or take a coffee break at Pollen restaurant. As a bonus, the indoor dome is one of the coldest places in Singapore and will set you easily in the festive mood.

The magical Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Yes, you heard me right, Harry Potter fans: Changi Airport is bringing the Harry Potter wizarding world to Singapore from Nov 16 onwards. As part of the airport’s Christmas decoration, you can now see Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade Village at Terminal 3 (activities include wand challenges, quidditch and unique photo experiences). Also, see the Whomping Willow at Terminal 2 – on top of that there’ll be a snow and light show coming soon. Just magical!

Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay

Still not feeling the Christmas Spirit? Head to Singapore’s largest Christmas Market at Gardens by the Bay opening on 30 Nov. Get enchanted by live Christmas carols, outdoor ice skating under the stars, and many attractions from mulled wine to fake snow – the German approves.

Christmas shopping on Orchard Road

Like every year, Singapore’s main shopping street transforms itself into a Disney Christmas wonderland. It is Disney’s largest Christmas street light-up in Southeast Asia, open from Nov 10 to Jan 1. If you are still looking for presents for your loved ones, I recommend heading to either ION, Takashimaya or Paragon shopping mall.
